TELADAN YG SANGAT BERGUNA

Hukum membawa pulang makanan yang dihidang....Astaghfirullah...

*TELADAN YG SANGAT BERGUNA:*

Sementara tunggu giliran dipanggil di sebuah klinik , nampak satu keluarga Arab Sudan, suami isteri dan bawa 3 anak baru lepas terima rawatan.

Dekat tepi kaunter bayaran ada satu bahan makanan yg sedang dipromosi....
.....Bukan bahan yg dipromosi saya nak cerita tapi akhlak seorang yang sangat menjaga amanah Tuhan.

Saya nak tanya, jika kita, faham akan apa maksud "PLEASE TAKE ONE"?

Jadi ketika dah nak masuk kereta, bapanya perasan 2 orang anaknya ambik setiap orang satu. Dia tegur anaknya suruh pulangkan satu. Just take one only. Haram! dia kata.

(Surah al-A'raf, ayat 16)

(Surah Ibrahim, ayat 7)

Rasulullah SAW selalu solat sehingga kakinya bengkak. Apabila ditanya mengapa baginda solat sebegitu sedangkan baginda dijanjikan syurga: "Tidakkah patut aku menjadi hamba yang bersyukur?" (Riwayat Bukhari)

Aamiin Ya Rabb

THE BEST QUOTES FROM THE QURAN

THE BEST QUOTES FROM THE QURAN

CHAPTER 1 – SURAH FATIHA QUOTES

“Guide Us To The Straight Path” – Surah Fatiha Ayat 6

CHAPTER 2 – SURAH BAQARAH QUOTES

This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those conscious of Allah – Baqarah Ayat 2

“….so whenever guidance comes to you from Me, then whoever follows my guidance, then there will neither be any fear on them nor will they grieve.” Ayat 38

“And do not mix the truth with falsehood or conceal the truth while you know [it].” Ayat 42

There are some jaw dropping quotes from the Quran that leave you in awe the first time you read them, for me this was a powerful one. Through life experience I’ve noticed countless times by observing others and myself that we do not like to admit or faults or try to conceal our vices. I believe this is human nature, we unknowingly do this as a defense mechanism to protect our ego. Sometimes we delude ourselves so much we begin to believe our own lies. So, in a way, this ayat is telling us not too fool ourselves. I’ve found the best way to avoid fooling ourselves is to simply try our best to do what is right, doesn’t matter who sees it. Do the right thing for your own psyche and you will no longer have to “conceal with falsehood” because the rest won’t matter, you did the right thing. Sometimes it helps to believe your in a movie and everything is being recorded, and in a way it is, but on that day when you get to rewind and play back the tape it will be too late.

“Do not worship except Allah ; and to parents do good and to relatives, orphans, and the needy. And speak to people good [words] and establish prayer and give zakah.” Then you turned away, except a few of you, and you were refusing.” Surah Baqarah Ayat 83

We’ve all heard sayings like “If you have nothing good to say then don’t say it” but we realize this is actually difficult in practice. We at some point in our life say things we regret and wish we could take back. So, this quote from the Quran is just a reminder that nothing good comes from screaming negativity. A useful tactic I’ve learned when you’re angry or about to send a ‘passionate’ email with strong wording is to just wait one day. If you feel the same way tomorrow morning then go ahead and press send but you’ll notice you won’t be as emotionally invested in letting the other party know exactly how you feel. After all, it’s better to take the high road, it’s less crowded.

“So remember Me; I will remember you. And be grateful to Me and do not deny Me.” Surah Baqarah Verse 152

Nothing in this world can happen without the will of Allah. This is similar to message from hadith in Sahih Muslim number 2675: “I am near to the thought of my servant as he thinks about me, and I am with him as he remembers me. And if he remembers me in his heart, I also remember him in my heart, and if he remembers me in assembly I remember him in assembly, better than his (remembrance), and if he draws near me by the span of a palm, I draw near him by the cubit, and if he draws near me by the cubit I draw near him by the space (covered by) two hands. And if he walks towards me, I rush towards him.”

“Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return” Ayat 156

It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them.” Ayat 187

Allah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. “Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.” Ayat 286

Allah does not charge a soul except that which is within its capacity. How many struggles or adversities have you overcome in life thus far? Remember the last thing you thought would destroy you or seemed insurmountable… but look here you are still standing. We think in isolation and believe the most recent problem is the greatest but the truth is all our troubles have been experienced by humanity before us. So when in the Quran it mentions “lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us” we must realize that these problems are not new, they have been handled and solved by those before us we just have to be creative and search for the solutions instead of being anxious and afraid.

CHAPTER 3 – SURAH IMRAN QUOTES

“Indeed, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him. That is the straight path.” Ayat 51

And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you – when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers.” Ayat 103

United we stand, divided we fall. This ayat is the same notion, in order to be successful we need the help of other people. Question, how can we be united when the message ingrained in us since we were children was ‘avoid talking to strangers’ or ‘stranger danger’. This message does not serve us as adults and the reality is we should talk to strangers. These are the people who make up our communities our masjids and can be a source of support and help.

“Every soul will taste death, and you will only be given your [full] compensation on the Day of Resurrection. So he who is drawn away from the Fire and admitted to Paradise has attained [his desire]. And what is the life of this world except the enjoyment of delusion.” Ayat 185

This is a reminder of our mortality. If you passed away today would you be satisfied with that which you had accomplished? Are you proud of the life and your legacy? If not, I’ve got some good news…you are still alive. Tomorrow is a new day and you can change directions. To reach a destination does take time, you can’t arrive at a 10 year destination overnight, but to change directions you can do that today. You just have to decide, commit, and be specific.

For example, if you’re not happy about your weight tomorrow you can begin your exercise regimen of doing 10 minutes of cardio everyday at 10am. Just make a promise to yourself for one month to see it through. After day one you won’t see any results but after day 14 you’ll see some results.

So remember, you’re going to die but it doesn’t have to be in vain, decide what is important and work towards it. You have the power to change directions overnight and don’t have to repeat the next 5 years like the past five.

CHAPTER 4 – AN NISA QUOTES

Men are in charge of women by [right of] what Allah has given one over the other and what they spend [for maintenance] from their wealth.” Surah Imran Ayat 34

O you who have believed, it is not lawful for you to inherit women by compulsion. And do not make difficulties for them in order to take [back] part of what you gave them unless they commit a clear immorality. And live with them in kindness. For if you dislike them – perhaps you dislike a thing and Allah makes therein much good.” Surah Imran Ayat 19

“Wherever you may be, death will overtake you, even if you should be within towers of lofty construction.” Ayat 78.

Another Quran quote about death, it’s one I constantly think about. Humans are the only life form aware of their mortality, it’s an inevitable truth we can’t escape. This quote from the Quran is a reminder it doesn’t matter if you live in a villa or palace death will find you. We often strive for wealth (and there’s nothing wrong with that goal)  but some fail at spending their entire life in the pursuit of money and won’t be able to buy back time lost.

CHAPTER 5 – SURAH MA’IDAH QUOTES

“Your ally is none but Allah and [therefore] His Messenger and those who have believed – those who establish prayer and give zakah, and they bow [in worship].” Verse 55

“O you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.” Surah Maidah Ayat 90

“O you who have believed, upon you is [responsibility for] yourselves. Those who have gone astray will not harm you when you have been guided. To Allah is your return all together; then He will inform you of what you used to do.” Ayat 105

CHAPTER 6 – SURAH AN’AM QUOTES

“And it is He who created the heavens and earth in truth. And the day He says, “Be,” and it is, His word is the truth. And His is the dominion [on] the Day the Horn is blown. [He is] Knower of the unseen and the witnessed; and He is the Wise, the Acquainted.” Ayat 73

“And the worldly life is not but amusement and diversion; but the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah, so will you not reason?” Surah Anam Ayat 32

CHAPTER 7 – SURAH A’RAF QUOTES

“Indeed, the mercy of Allah is near to the doers of good.” Surah Anam Ayah 56

“And decree for us in this world [that which is] good and [also] in the Hereafter; indeed, we have turned back to You.” [ Allah ] said, “My punishment – I afflict with it whom I will, but My mercy encompasses all things.” So I will decree it [especially] for those who fear Me and give zakah and those who believe in Our verses –” Ayat 156

“Take what is given freely, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant. And if an evil suggestion comes to you from Satan, then seek refuge in Allah . Indeed, He is Hearing and Knowing.” Surah Al-A’raf Ayat 199-200

“So when the Qur’an is recited, then listen to it and pay attention that you may receive mercy.” Ayat 204

CHAPTER 8 – SURAH ANFAL QUOTES

“But Allah would not punish them while you, [O Muhammad], are among them, and Allah would not punish them while they seek forgiveness.” Surah Anfal Verse 33

“[Remember] when you asked help of your Lord, and He answered you, “Indeed, I will reinforce you with a thousand from the angels, following one another.” Surah Anfal Verse 9

CHAPTER 9 – SURAH TAWBAH QUOTES

“Indeed, to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth; He gives life and causes death. And you have not besides Allah any protector or any helper.” Surah Tawbah Ayat 116

“Go forth, whether light or heavy, and strive with your wealth and your lives in the cause of Allah . That is better for you, if you only knew.” Surah Taubah Ayat 41

CHAPTER 10 – SURAH YUNUS QUOTES

“Unquestionably, to Allah belongs whatever is in the heavens and the earth. Unquestionably, the promise of Allah is truth, but most of them do not know” – Quote From Surah Yunus Ayat 55

And they say, “Why is a sign not sent down to him from his Lord?” So say, “The unseen is only for Allah [to administer], so wait; indeed, I am with you among those who wait.” Surah Yunus Ayat 20

CHAPTER 11 – SURAH HUD QUOTES

“And if We give man a taste of mercy from Us and then We withdraw it from him, indeed, he is despairing and ungrateful. But if We give him a taste of favor after hardship has touched him, he will surely say, “Bad times have left me.” Indeed, he is exultant and boastful– ” Surah Hud Ayat 9-10

How often have we heard of stories of people that become full of themselves when they achieve success, they believe in their own greatness. They fall short at understanding it was Allah who decreed success for you. Understanding that you did the work but Allah gave the result removes any arrogance or pride allows you to remain humble and grateful.

“88. He said, “O my people, have you considered: if I am upon clear evidence from my Lord and He has provided me with a good provision from Him… ? And I do not intend to differ from you in that which I have forbidden you; I only intend reform as much as I am able. And my success is not but through Allah. Upon him I have relied, and to Him I return.” Ayat 88

CHAPTER 12 – SURAH YUSUF QUOTES

There was certainly in their stories a lesson for those of understanding. Never was the Qur’an a narration invented, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe.” Ayat 111

The Quran is basically the best how to book. It contains within all the answers on how to conduct ourselves, how to behave, social laws, divorce laws, inheritance, business, hygiene, love, charity, etc.

CHAPTER 13 – SURAH AR RA’D QUOTES

“Those who have believed and whose hearts are assured by the remembrance of Allah . Unquestionably, by the remembrance of Allah hearts are assured. Those who have believed and done righteous deeds – a good state is theirs and a good return.” Surah R’ad Ayat 28-29

“For each one are successive [angels] before and behind him who protect him by the decree of Allah . Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves. And when Allah intends for a people ill, there is no repelling it. And there is not for them besides Him any patron.” Ayat 11

Islam is a religion where the responsibility is placed on the individual. He is given complete free will to do as he pleases, that’s why in the Quran it also states “there is no compulsion to religion”. You have to want to change for the change to occur.

CHAPTER 14 – SURAH IBRAHIM QUOTES

“Our Lord, forgive me and my parents and the believers the Day the account is established.” Ayat 41

“If you are grateful, I will surely increase you [in favor]; but if you deny, indeed, My punishment is severe.” Islamic Quote From Surah Ibrahim Ayat 7

CHAPTER 15 – SURAH HIJR QUOTES

“And We have not created the heavens and earth and that between them except in truth. And indeed, the Hour is coming; so forgive with gracious forgiveness.” Surah Hijr Verse 85

So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts” Ayat 46

Our eyes can’t lie, we observe things as they are but having clear vision is not enough. Errors of judgement and behavior comes from emotional impulses, that is people are often blinded by the heart. The heart can pull a curtain over the eyes giving a false narrative, so it’s important to work on achieving a clear heart which in turn will will gives us the right perspective.

CHAPTER 42 – ASH-SHURA QUOTES

“And whoever is patient and forgives – indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination.” Surah Ash Shura Ayat 43

The Quran recognizes how forgiving others can be difficult. I believe it’s because we don’t live in the present moment, we constantly replay memories of the past and dwell on it. Another reason is we don’t want to forgive is because we falsely believe that if we open ourselves up again we’ll get the same outcome. Lastly, it’s easier to harbor anger when someone wronged you then to seek tranquility. It’s only natural we lean into whichever we believe to be easier. Just remember next time you get angry or upset, holding onto that feeling is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die.

“In order that you not despair over what has eluded you and not exult [in pride] over what He has given you. And Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful” Surah Hadid Ayat 23

CHAPTER 58 – SURAH MUJADILA QUOTES

You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger, even if they were their fathers or their sons or their brothers or their kindred. Those – He has decreed within their hearts faith and supported them with spirit from Him. And We will admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow, wherein they abide eternally. Allah is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him – those are the party of Allah . Unquestionably, the party of Allah – they are the successful. Ayat 22

CHAPTER 59 – SURAH HASHR QUOTES

“O you who have believed, fear Allah . And let every soul look to what it has put forth for tomorrow – and fear Allah . Indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.” Ayat 18

He is Allah, the Creator, the Inventor, the Fashioner; to Him belong the best names. Whatever is in the heavens and earth is exalting Him. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise.
– A Quote on the Greatness of Allah Surah Hashr Ayat 22

If We had sent down this Qur’an upon a mountain, you would have seen it humbled and coming apart from fear of Allah . And these examples We present to the people that perhaps they will give thought. Ayat 21

CHAPTER 60 – SURAH MUMTAHINAH QUOTES

“Never will your relatives or your children benefit you; the Day of Resurrection He will judge between you. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing.” Surah Mumtahanah Ayat 3

This quote from Quran is about judgement day (Qiyamah) and how we will solely be responsible for what we have done. No one else, not our relatives or our children will be able to help us. This is similar to the biblical saying “you reap what you sow”.

CHAPTER 66 – SURAH AT-TAHRIM QUOTES

“O you who have believed, repent to Allah with sincere repentance. Perhaps your Lord will remove from you your misdeeds and admit you into gardens beneath which rivers flow [on] the Day when Allah will not disgrace the Prophet and those who believed with him.” Surah Tahrim Ayat 8

CHAPTER 67 – SURAH AL-MULK QUOTES

“Say, ‘The knowledge is only with Allah, and I am only a clear warner’.” Ayat 185

This is a reminder from the Quran that there is no compulsion to Islam. The Qur’an and Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) are only distributors of knowledge as to warn people. Ultimately, the choice is theirs.

CHAPTER 68 – SURAH QALAM QUOTES

“And do not obey every worthless habitual swearer [And] scorner, going about with malicious gossip – A preventer of good, transgressing and sinful, Cruel, moreover, and an illegitimate pretender.” Surah Al Qalam Ayat 10-14

CHAPTER 69 – SURAH AL-HAQQA QUOTES

“That Day, you will be exhibited [for judgement]; not hidden among you is anything concealed.” Surah Haqqah Ayat 18

CHAPTER 70 – SURAH MA’ARIJ QUOTES

“And those who are to their trusts and promises attentive And those who are in their testimonies upright And those who [carefully] maintain their prayer: They will be in gardens, honored.” Surah Al-Ma’arij Ayat 32-35

“So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised – The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening. Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. That is the Day which they had been promised.” Ayat 43-45

This can be a controversial topic, some individuals take the stance that Muslims should not associate with non-believers. From this ayat we can see it does not take any extreme stances.

CHAPTER 71 – SURAH NUH QUOTES

Here are two Quranic quotes for forgivness from Surah Nuh:

“And said, ‘Ask forgiveness of your Lord. Indeed, He is ever a Perpetual Forgiver.” Surah Nuh Ayat 10

“My Lord, forgive me and my parents and whoever enters my house a believer and the believing men and believing women. And do not increase the wrongdoers except in destruction.” Surah Nuh Ayat 28

The Transliteration for the above Dua is “Rabbigh fir lee wa liwaa lidaiya wa liman dakhala baitiya mu’minanw wa lil mu’mineena wal mu’minaati wa laa tazidiz zaalimeena illaa tabaaraa”

CHAPTER 82 – SURAH INFITAR QUOTES

“O mankind, what has deceived you concerning your Lord, the Generous,” Ayat 6

CHAPTER 83 – SURAH MUTAFFIFIN QUOTES

“Woe to those who give less [than due], Who, when they take a measure from people, take in full. But if they give by measure or by weight to them, they cause loss. Do they not think that they will be resurrected” Ayat 1-4

This is beautiful lesson about Economics and Business success from the Quran. Business’ that thrive are one’s that create more value for consumers than they take. This simple concept is often neglected by individuals that start business’ because they primarily get into business for selfish reasons, they want money and the freedom. Profits and freedom are a by product that comes only to those who provide tremendous value upfront for their users. Failure to understand this is a major contributor to the statistic that 80% of business fail within the first 5 years. It’s a difficult task to bring the most value to the marketplace while remaining cost effective and competitive.

More generally speaking, it’s just a good long term strategy to bring more to the table than you get paid for. It’s an investment in yourself and for your future by becoming an attractive person. Overtime time you will be recognized for your work and inshallah given more opportunities. As this verse from Quran says, “woe to those who give less [and]…take in full”. Do not get caught in the take, take, take, gimme, gimme, gimme short-term attitude that many folks do.

CHAPTER 84 – SURAH INSHIQAQ QUOTES

“And Allah is most knowing of what they keep within themselves.” Ayat 23

“Except for those who believe and do righteous deeds. For them is a reward uninterrupted.” Ayat 25

CHAPTER 88 – SURAH GHASHIYAH QUOTES

CHAPTER 89 – SURAH FAJR QUOTES

“And as for man, when his Lord tries him and [thus] is generous to him and favors him, he says, “My Lord has honored me.”” Ayat 15

CHAPTER 90 – SURAH BALAD QUOTES

“We have certainly created man into hardship. Does he think that never will anyone overcome him?” Surah Balad Ayat 4-5

The Buddhist have a saying that life is suffering, this Quran verse shares the similar sentiment that life is hard. The surah continues and it reads, “And have shown him the two ways?” which is the paradox of choice. You would suspect that more choices would lead to more freedom and happiness but it really just does the opposite. We are constantly having inner battles between right or wrong, we are dissatisfied with the choices we make (did I pick the right thing? I should’ve just went with the first option) and this causes uneasiness. Sometimes we’re better off with limited choice. Sometimes being told the reality helps us to understand what is required, so yes it’s suppose to be hard,  if the choices were easy then everyone would be among the righteous.

“And then being among those who believed and advised one another to patience and advised one another to compassion.” Ayat 17

CHAPTER 91 – SURAH ASH-SHAMS QUOTES

Surah Ash Shams doesn’t have a singular quote that can be pulled as each ayat is part of a greater message. In this Surah it talks about the She-Camel of Prophet Salih. The people of Thamud had “hamstrung” the camel which directly went against the warnings of Allah (SWT) and they suffered the conseuqence.

CHAPTER 92 – SURAH AL-LAIL QUOTES

“He] who gives [from] his wealth to purify himself. And not [giving] for anyone who has [done him] a favor to be rewarded. But only seeking the countenance of his Lord, Most High.” Ayat 18-20

Islam places emphasis not just on the doing but the intent behind the action. It says pray but do not be heedless in prayer, to be charitable but not for the pursuit of notoriety, and as this Quran verse says, to give and but do not expect something in return.

CHAPTER 93 – SURAH AD-DUHA QUOTES

“Your Lord has not taken leave of you, [O Muhammad], nor has He detested [you].” Ayat 3

CHAPTER 99 – SURAH AZ-ZALZALAH QUOTES

“Competition in [worldly] increase diverts you Until you visit the graveyards.” Ayat 1-2

CHAPTER 105 – SURAH AL-FIL QUOTES

Surah Al-Fil does not have single quote which can be pulled as it will be out of context. This chapter of the Quran tells the story of the companions of the elephant. Abraha (an Aksumite army general) began a military expedition against the Quraysh of Mecca. He attacked Meccans while riding on an elephant. It is said Allah saved the Meccans from this force by sending a swarm of birds that pelted the invaders with clay stones and destroyed them. The entire army of Abraha was destroyed for attacking the Kaabah.

CHAPTER 106 – SURAH QURAYSH QUOTES

In Surah Quryash, Allah sent down a message for security to the Meccan tribe Quryash. The message is still applicable today. Ilaf is a direct Quranic name for boys and girls that means “oath”, “promise”, “safety”, “security”.

  1. For the Ilaf of the Quraysh.
  2. Their Ilaf caravans, in winter and in summer.
  3. So, let them worship the Lord of this House.
  4. Who has fed them against hunger, and has made them safe from fear.

CHAPTER 107 – SURAH AL-MA’UN QUOTES

“So woe to those who pray [But] who are heedless of their prayer – Those who make show [of their deeds” Ayat 4-6

CHAPTER 110 – SURAH NASR QUOTES

Then exalt [Him] with praise of your Lord and ask forgiveness of Him. Indeed, He is ever Accepting of repentance. Surah Nasr Ayat 3

CHAPTER 111 – SURAH MASAD QUOTES

Surah Masad is a very short Surah, there’s no single quote that can be pulled as the Surah tells the story of Prophet Muhammad Paternal Uncle Abu Lahab and his wife. In this Surah it curses both his uncle and his wife for staunchly opposing Islam. In the Surah it mentions the wife as the ‘bearer of the wood’ and according to Tafsir by Ibn Kathir this is because she is said to have carried thorns and would cast them in Muhammad’s pathway as to injure his feet.

CHAPTER 112 – SURAH IKHLAS QUOTES

“Allah, the Eternal Refuge.” Ayat 185

Allah is the eternal refuge (refuge: a condition of being safe or sheltered from pursuit, danger, or trouble).

CHAPTER 113 – SURAH FALAQ QUOTES

Surah Falaq is a short Surah, here’s the English translation of the whole surah. There’s no one single quote from this chapter of the Quran I could pull, it must be viewed as a whole to understand the full message behind this surah.

  1. Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem In The Name of Allah, The Most Gracious and Most Merciful.
